Afghanistan's manufacturing plants have increased

Officials in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan say that after the political changes in the country and the new government, the activity of manufacturing factories has increased from 30 to 83 percent.


According to Amac News: Abdulsalam Javad Akhundzadeh, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, in a conversation with the Afghan News Agency, said that the ministry has created a committee for investors and businessmen returning from Pakistan and some European countries to arrange facilities for returning businessmen.
Akhundzadeh added that the facilities provided include 17 items, including 5-year tax exemption, distribution of land for the establishment of factories and residential houses for investors.
He said about the process of transferring 3,000 containers of imported goods stuck by Afghan businessmen in the port of Karachi, Pakistan, that this process has started since last week and 300 containers are entering the country every day.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade says that this agreement was reached after the discussion between the acting Minister of the Ministry Nooruddin Azizi and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Pakistan.
Mr. Akhundzadeh stated that the work on alternative routes including Chabahar port and some other transportation routes is going on so that Afghanistan will not face challenges in the future in the field of export and import transit.
He stated that after the change of the political system in Afghanistan, the new government has economic relations with 80 countries of the world and the country's domestic products are exported to all countries of the world including America, Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and some Arab countries.
Mr. Akhundzadeh said about the recent trip of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Iran, that during this trip, memorandums of understanding were signed to facilitate the transfer and export of Afghan commercial goods from Iran.
The spokesman of Afghanistan's Ministry of Industry and Trade says that China has invested nearly two billion dollars in the sectors of mining, oil, industrial parks and customs over the past two years.
He said that China has invested in the aforementioned sectors this year, but; So far, the exact figures of the amount of its investment have not been determined and will be announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan in the near future.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Trade says that the Afghan government provides investment opportunities and supports all national and international businessmen who want to invest in Afghanistan.
