ADNOC Gas plc has announced that it has signed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for the next phase of the development of the UAE's gas sales pipeline network, the "ESTIDAMA Project".

According to Amac News: The ADNOC company has entered into another contract with the ownership of ESTIDAMA being transferred from ADNOC Gas to ADNOC, thereby significantly optimizing the capital efficiency of ADNOC Gas.
The EPC contracts are worth a total of $550 million (AED 2 billion) and have been awarded to NMDC Energy P.J.S.C and Galfar Engineering & Contracting W.L.L Emirates.
According to Emirates Gas Company, these contracts have been signed in order to increase access to customers.
Approximately 70 percent of the contract value is expected to flow into the country's economy through ADNOC's Intrinsic Value (ICV) program, supporting local economic growth and diversification.
ESTIDAMA has expanded the natural gas pipeline network of the UAE from about 3,200 km to more than 3,500 km, enabling the transfer of higher volumes of natural gas to customers in the Northern Emirates of the UAE.
Following the transfer of ownership, ADNOC Gas will continue to manage ESTIDAMA, leveraging its expertise in pipeline construction and operations, and ADNOC will cover the capital costs for this critical infrastructure project.
