The UAE Ministry of Finance launched a manual workshop on private participation

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) of UAE has announced that it has organized a workshop to launch a public-private partnership manual for projects and implementation at the Dubai International Financial Center.


According to Amac News: The Ministry of Finance said that this workshop was held in the presence of Saeed Rashid Al Yateem, Assistant Deputy Minister of Resources and Budget, along with many leaders of the Ministry and other federal institutions.
In this workshop, the objectives of the guide were discussed and its role in supporting the development projects and national strategy of the UAE was highlighted.
The Ministry of Finance is used to monitor the procedures of the collaborative project and ensure the optimal implementation of the guidelines, he noted.
This workshop dealt with the methods of designing, planning and implementing projects to maximize their benefits.
Procedures for federal agencies and private sector partners in collaborative projects, including transparency and clarity, to ensure that all parties involved are well informed were discussed.
The Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with strategic partners, has identified key priority sectors for the first phase of PPP projects. These sectors include infrastructure, energy, healthcare, social services and education.
The Ministry of Finance announced that the cabinet has approved public-private partnership guidelines for projects and implementation.
According to this directive, the Ministry of Finance is responsible for taking the necessary measures to monitor the procedures of collaborative projects between the federal public and private sectors.
