The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan said in a newsletter that the head of the ministry had a conversation with the Deputy Minister of Mines of Uzbekistan.

According to Amac News: The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has stated in its newsletter that Hedayatullah Badri, acting head of the ministry, met Qadiraif, Deputy Minister of Mines of Uzbekistan, and discussed about Afghanistan's mines.
In the newsletter, it is stated that in this meeting, the parties discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of extraction and processing of Afghanistan's mines and economic issues.
In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan said that joint studies on mines will be conducted based on the signed contracts between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
