SANDBOX, an accelerator program dedicated to growing tech startups, has announced that it has invested in seven tech startups from Oraseya Capital.
According to Amac News: The SANDBOX announcement states that each startup received 570,000 dirhams after the success of the program, which attracted more than 1,500 applications.
Oraseya Capital invests in startups that have proven high growth opportunities, characterized by creative ideas and innovative perspectives.
SANDBOX is a 5-month accelerator program that consists of 2 phases. The first phase is an 8-week "evaluation phase" that culminates in the presentation of the startups to Oraseya Capital's investment committee.
Then the successful startups will officially enter the 3-month SANDBOX Accelerator program and each will receive an investment offer from Oraseya Capital.
The SANDBOX program encourages an experimental mindset and focuses heavily on monetization activities as well as further fundraising efforts.
Startups benefit from mentorship hosted by business and technology experts, as well as exposure to other investors.
Startups participating in the program benefit from more than 50 hours of workshops, including access to an integrated package of financial analysis, marketing strategies, and legal compliance programs.
Entrepreneurs in the SANDBOX program also receive more than 30 hours of mentoring from industry experts and have the opportunity to network with regional investors.
The fifth edition of SANDBOX, which has already received more than 1100 requests, will start from the beginning of September 2024.
