The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says that Canada has donated 3 million Canadian dollars, equivalent to 2.2 million US dollars, to Afghanistan.

According to Amac News: OCHA has announced in a newsletter that since 2019, the country has contributed a total of 15.8 million Canadian dollars.
This office said that aid programs in Afghanistan are facing a lack of funds.
The OCHA newsletter states that in 2024, 23.7 million people, including 9.2 million children, will need humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.
