Etihad Airways has announced by publishing its financial results that the profit of this company has increased by 48% during the first half of 2024.
According to Amac News: The announcement of this company states that this amount of profit after tax deduction has reached 851 million dirhams, while the profit of this company in the same period last year was 575 million dirhams.
Total revenue has increased by around 21% from 9.6 billion dirhams in the first half of 2023 to 11.7 billion dirhams, the announcement said.
There was also a significant 10% increase in cargo revenue compared to the same period in 2023, mainly due to higher demand and higher cargo capacity of the fleet.
Etihad carried 8.7 million passengers in the first half of the year, up 38% year-on-year, almost three times IATA's average growth rate of 13% for Middle East airlines over the same period.
The average passenger load factor in the first half of 2024 is 85% and has remained unchanged compared to the first half of last year.
