Officials in Balkh Municipality have announced the opening of a special business center for the activities of business women in Mazar-e-Sharif.

According to Amac News: Bakhtullah Mazhari, Legal Advisor of Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality, said that "Rabia Balkhi" shopping center was built by "Islamic Welfare Institute" at a cost of 2 million and 200 thousand Afghanis.
Mazhari added that this commercial center has 61 shops and 200 businesswomen work in the handicraft and food sectors.
According to Mazhari, this is the second commercial center for businesswomen in Mazar-e-Sharif city, which has provided employment for 400 women.
According to Mazhari, businesswomen work in these business centers for women, in the fields of handicrafts, tailoring and local food production.
