India topped the Dubai Chamber of Commerce list of new companies

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three active chambers under the umbrella of the Dubai Chambers, has published statistics and announced that Indian investors are at the top of the list of new non-Emirati companies that joined the Chamber of Commerce in the first half of this year with 7,860 new companies.


According to Amac News: According to the statistics of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, these findings show the strong ability of Dubai to attract direct investment from India and emphasize the increasing attractiveness of the emirate among international businesses.
Pakistan ranked second on the list with 3,968 new companies joining in the first half of 2024, while Egypt followed with 2,355 new companies that registered as Chamber members.
In the first half of the year, 1358 new Syrian companies joined the chamber, which placed the country in fourth place among the top nationalities of new member companies.
The UK ranked fifth with 1,245 new companies, while Bangladesh ranked sixth with 1,119 new Bangladeshi companies in the first half of 2024.
Iraq took the seventh place in the list with 799 new member companies, and companies from China took the eighth place with 742 new companies joining the chamber.
Sudan ranks 9th on the list with 683 new Sudanese companies registered as Chamber members. Jordan ranked 10th with 674 new companies joining the chamber in the first half of this year.
In terms of the distribution of part of the new member companies that joined the chamber in the first half of 2024, the trade and repair services sector has taken the first place with 41.5% of the total.
The real estate, rental and business services sector came in second with 33.6 percent of the total.
After that, the construction sector ranked third with 9.4%, and the transportation, storage and communication sector ranked fourth with 8.4%.
The social and personal services sector ranked fifth with 6.6 percent.
The construction sector showed the strongest growth among the top five sectors for new companies joining the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in the first half of 2024, registering a growth of 23.5% over the same period in 2023.
Transportation, storage and communication. The sector after that, achieving a growth rate of 13.6%. Real estate services, rental and business services ranked third with a 9.5 percent increase over last year.
