Kazakhstan has announced that it is ready to cooperate in the construction of a railway line between the ports of Torghundi, Herat, and Spinboldak, Kandahar, Afghanistan.

According to Amac News: The government of Kazakhstan published a statement saying that "Serik Zhumangarin", the country's deputy prime minister, after meeting with "Momitan Chakiyev", the head of transport and communication, announced that Kazakhstan is interested in cooperation with Turkmenistan, the international highway north- build the south
Zhumangarin added that Kazakhstan is ready to provide the necessary equipment and tools for the construction of the railway between Torghundi and Spinboldak.
This Kazakh official also said that his country is ready to take an active part, along with Turkmenistan, in the development of the eastern part of this corridor that passes through Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
