The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Rotana Hotel Management Company to attract more tourists to the emirate.


According to Amac News: In the announcement of DCT Abu Dhabi, it is stated that this agreement was signed in order to enhance the visitor experience through promotions and exclusive benefits for attractions including Abu Dhabi Louvre, National Aquarium and Qasr Al-Watan.
The agreement, which runs until September 2024, reflects DCT Abu Dhabi's continued belief in the power of partnership and collaboration in enhancing the UAE's appeal as a year-round travel destination that provides a range of experiences for all.
It also supports DCT Abu Dhabi's Tourism Strategy 2030, an ambitious plan that heralds a new era of strategic expansion and development in the UAE's travel and tourism sector.
The goal of this strategy is to increase the availability of hotel rooms from 34,000 rooms in 2023 to 52,000 by 2030, increase the number of visitors from nearly 24 million in 2023 to 39.3 million by 2030, and increase the share of the tourism and travel sector's GDP from It is about 49 billion dirhams in 2023 to 90 billion dirhams in 2030.
DCT Abu Dhabi and Rotana Hotel Management Corp have a history of cooperation. In previous years, for example, Rotana's participation in Abu Dhabi's DCT initiatives included promotional road shows.
