Beyond Limits UAE won the second place of Tech4Good Tashkent competition

Team Beyond Limits of the United Arab Emirates has announced that it has placed second in the regional semifinals of the 4th annual Tech4Good competition held in Tashkent in conjunction with the Seeds for the Future 2024 program.


According to Amac News: In the report of Team Beyond Limits of the Emirates, it is stated that Team Future Gadget Lab from Kuwait won the first place in this competition.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Huawei celebrated the regional finals of the Seeds for the Future 2024 program with a grand awards ceremony in Tashkent.
The teams were recognized by judges for their innovative use of technology to help stroke patients with limited hand mobility.
They will compete in the finals in China alongside qualified teams from around the world and explore the enormous potential of ICT to advance sustainable development.
This year's program brought together 150 students from 14 countries across the Middle East and Central Asia. The week-long event saw participants develop their ICT skills and work towards global digital inclusion and enhance their cultural understanding through a series of sessions, classes, competitions and cultural programs.
The Tech4Good competition is aimed at empowering and participating young people in creating positive changes in their communities. This unique platform encourages young minds to tackle pressing social issues by harnessing the enormous potential of the latest ICT technologies.
As part of the program, students participated in five days of intensive training sessions and workshops in Tashkent, which included advanced ICT technologies, science and technology leadership, discussions on global issues, Tech4Good group projects, and more.
Through mutual learning and exchange, participants gained a better understanding of 5G, AI and cloud technologies, developed more strengths for future growth and improved their competitiveness in the labor market. Students were also given an opportunity to visit and communicate with Huawei and Arte experts.
Huawei's Seeds for the Future program is the flagship of the company's CSR initiative, which aims to develop global ICT talent. Since its launch in 2008, more than 18,000 students from 141 countries have participated.
Endorsed by more than 360 senior officials and heads of state, the program has partnered with more than 500 universities and colleges to nurture a new generation of ICT leaders and innovators.
