Officials of the Afghanistan Ministry of Industry and Trade said at the closing ceremony of the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Uzbekistan trade fair and conference that the ministry is committed to providing employment for 550,000 people in the entrepreneurship and industry sector in the next five years.

According to Amac News: Nooruddin Azizi, acting head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, said at the closing ceremony of the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan-Uzbekistan trade exchange exhibition and conference that 25 memorandums and contracts worth two and a half billion dollars were signed in this exhibition.
He stated that currently the best opportunity for investment in Afghanistan has been provided and domestic and foreign businessmen and investors should take advantage of this opportunity and invest in Afghanistan.
Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan emphasized in this ceremony that this ministry is committed to provide work for 550 thousand people in the sector of enterprises and industry in the next five years.
Azizi asked the private sector, businessmen and domestic investors to cooperate with this ministry in the field of job creation and business development.
In this regard, Shadmanov Yadgarkhoja, the ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kabul, welcomed the holding of such exhibitions and said that this kind of exhibition will strengthen the trade relations between the two countries.
In this ceremony, he announced the opening of a trade center between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan and emphasized that this trade center will be opened in Afghanistan soon.
On the other hand, Mohammad Yunus Momand, the first deputy of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment welcomed the exhibition of Uzbekistan products in Kabul and considers it effective in strengthening business relations.
Momand added that such exhibitions help facilitate trade and increase Afghanistan's exports.
In this ceremony, he added that there are still problems in money transfer, visa acquisition, electricity supply and land distribution for businessmen and investors, which should be solved by the current government.
The exhibition of Uzbekistan products and productions was opened on Saturday this week with the presence of the officials of both countries on the sidelines of the trade meeting between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan in Kabul.
