The Central Bank of Afghanistan has announced the meeting of the vice president of the bank with the head of the Afghanistan-US Joint Chamber of Commerce by publishing a newsletter.

According to Amac News: The Central Bank of Afghanistan's newsletter states that Sediqullah Khalid, the first deputy of this bank, met with Jeff Greco, the head of the Afghanistan-US Joint Chamber of Commerce, and discussed strengthening the banking sector in Afghanistan.
The news release states that the parties discussed strengthening the private sector, business development and strengthening the banking sector of Afghanistan in this meeting.
Khalid said in this meeting that the Central Bank of Afghanistan is committed to the economic growth of the country and that this bank has been able to revive the banking sector of Afghanistan and preserve the "Afghan" value in the last three years.
The deputy of the Central Bank of Afghanistan has also assured Greco of the implementation of the principles of international standards in preventing money laundering and mechanizing the activities of exchanges and money services.
On the other hand, Jeff Greco, head of Afghanistan-US Joint Chamber of Commerce, said in this meeting that he is working to grow banking in Afghanistan as much as possible.
