Officials in the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation of Afghanistan say that over 40,16 flights have been made over Afghanistan in the past year.
According to Amac News: Fathullah Mansour, the operational deputy of Afghanistan's Ministry of Transportation and Aviation, said that the statistics of this ministry show that the number of flights passing through Afghanistan's airspace has increased compared to last year.
Mansour added that in the last one year, 1 million 897 thousand 273 passengers traveled from Afghanistan's airports in 12 thousand 503 flights, of which 774 thousand 700 went to Afghanistan and another 1 million 122 thousand 583 to Afghanistan. They have traveled outside of Afghanistan.
He stated that turning Khost airport into an international airport and providing services to Ariana Afghan Airlines, Cam Air and 8 other international airlines are among the major activities of this ministry in the past year.
The operational deputy of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of Afghanistan said that in the past year, 547 thousand 38 cargo vehicles traveled from Afghanistan to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Iran and Pakistan, and 434 thousand 709 vehicles from neighboring countries and the region to Afghanistan. have done
Sediqullah Abid, Finance and Administrative Deputy of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation of Afghanistan, said that this ministry has implemented 18 development projects in the past year, which have provided work for hundreds of people.
Abed added that 112 people have graduated from the Civil Aviation Institute, 150 students have been recruited in the ministry and about 500 people have been employed in the vacant positions of the ministry.
Imamuddin Ahmadi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation of Afghanistan, said that currently, 265 flights take place in the airspace of Afghanistan within 24 hours.
He emphasized that the flights that take place in the air space of Afghanistan will be paid 700 US dollars for each flight to Afghanistan.
