The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had a telephone call with the Acting Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus, to discuss issues of bilateral relations.

According to Amac News: Al-Nahyan first congratulated Mohammad Yunus on his new duties as the senior adviser of the interim government of Bangladesh.
The President of the UAE also emphasized his country's desire to cooperate in the coming period to advance the interests of both nations and realize the aspirations for growth and prosperity.
Mohammad Yunus expressed hope for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and emphasized his commitment to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and establish strong and stable relations for mutual benefits.
