The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan has announced the signing of several agreements during the visit of the head of the ministry to Turkmenistan by publishing a newsletter.
According to Amac News: The Ministry's newsletter states that among the agreements signed were the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) electricity pipeline project and the construction of necessary facilities for the Turghondi railway.
According to the ministry, important economic projects between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, such as the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) natural gas pipeline, the implementation of the 500 KV Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) electricity transmission project, the first phase of the Turghondi railway construction - Herat, the development of Turghondi port, and the acceleration of optical fiber projects and the progress made in this field, were among the other topics discussed in these meetings.
