The Afghanistan Electricity Company (Breshna) has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the "TOP" electricity transmission project with Turkmenistan.

According to Amac News: Breshna Company has published a notice in its X-sheet and said that this memorandum was signed by Abdul Bari Omar, the executive director of this company, the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan.
Top Power Transmission Project will deliver 500 KV of electricity from Turkmenistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan.
These three countries signed the first memorandum for the implementation of this project in 2015.
Based on the 2015 MoU, Afghanistan received 100 million dollars of electricity transit rights to Pakistan.
