According to Amac News: Afghanistan's futsal national team played against Thailand in the last match of the cup championship and finally lost to this country with a result of 2:1.
Akbar Kazemi scored Afghanistan's single goal in this game.
This is despite the fact that the Afghan players had defeated the Guatemalan and New Zealand futsal teams in the previous two matches of this competition.
It should be mentioned that in the world ranking, the Thai national futsal team is in the sixth place and the Afghan team is in the 48th place.
The five-way futsal competition under the name of Thailand 2024 continental futsal competition was held in Bangkok between the teams of Afghanistan, Thailand, Guatemala, New Zealand and Kuwait.
The purpose of these competitions is to prepare the teams for the World Cup in Uzbekistan.
