Sharjah real estate transactions reached 2.8 billion dirhams in August

The Sharjah Real Estate Registry has published a report on real estate transactions for August 2024, saying that according to statistics, real estate transactions across the emirate amounted to 2.8 billion dirhams.


According to Amac News: In the report of the Sharjah Real Estate Registry Office, it is stated that this office has covered 3055 transactions of seven million square feet of land.
Statistics show that Sharjah's real estate environment continues to grow at a strong pace, making it a safe and fruitful haven for capital owners and elite investors.
In detail, the statistics show that a total of 3055 transactions were made during this period. Sales transactions totaled 1,054, accounting for 34.5 percent of the total, while mortgage transactions reached 342 transactions, accounting for 11.2 percent of the total, valued at AED 677 million. Other transactions were a total of 1659 transactions, which includes 54.3% of the total number of transactions.
Sales transactions were carried out in 105 areas in different cities and regions of Sharjah. These properties included residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural lands. Among the properties traded, there were 403 vacant plots, 242 developed plots and 409 sub-towers.
The number of sales transactions in the city of Sharjah reached 948 transactions, of which Muwailih commercial area was the leader with 271 transactions, followed by Tilal with 86 transactions, Al Khan with 83 transactions, and Rawdat Al-Qart with 77 transactions.
In terms of the volume of cash transactions, Muwailih Trading was also at the top of the list with 238.5 million dirhams, followed by Tilal with 136.7 million dirhams, Al Mamzar with 89.9 million dirhams and Al-Sajaa Industrial with 89.3 million dirhams.
In the central region, a total of 78 sales transactions were made, of which Al-Qasimia city accounted for 52 transactions and the largest volume of cash transactions was 30 million dirhams.
In Khorfakkan, 12 sales and purchases were made, and Al-Harai Industrial Zone and Al-Harai Commercial Zone were the leaders with three transactions each. Al-Gharb region registered the highest volume of cash transactions with 1.6 million dirhams.
In Kalba, 16 sales and purchases were made, with Kalba Commercial and Al-Sur 4 having three transactions each. Al-Sur 1 registered the highest volume of cash transactions with 4.1 million dirhams.
