Dubai-based airline Flydubai has announced that it has signed an airline agreement with Sri Lankan Airlines.
According to Amac News: In the announcement of Flydubai, it is stated that this agreement will be effective from September 9, 2024 onwards and will provide extensive travel opportunities between the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka and beyond on selected routes on the carrier's networks.
The agreement provides Flydubai passengers with access to 16 destinations on the SriLankan network across South and East Asia, the Middle East and Australia, including Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo.
In addition, the international routes allow passengers traveling with Sri Lankan Airlines to connect via the Dubai Aviation Hub to more than 30 destinations served by Flydubai in Africa, Central Asia, Central and South Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
These locations include popular tourist destinations such as Bucharest, Krakow, Mombasa, Naples, Tashkent and Zanzibar.
The new agreement offers travelers the convenience of single-ticket travel, checked baggage and coordinated flight schedules.
