The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has published a report titled 'The Future of Progress', a new global measure of national success that goes beyond the traditional concept of gross domestic product (GDP).

According to Amac News: In the report of the Dubai Future Foundation, it is stated that DFF had already proposed the concept of new definitions of success in the Future Opportunities report.
The new report examines possible scenarios and pathways for transitioning beyond GDP as a basis for global dialogue.
The report aims to contribute to the many important global efforts that have already been achieved, as there is still no internationally agreed standard for moving beyond GDP.
GDP has been the primary indicator of national progress since it was first adopted nearly 80 years ago. It is based on the value of goods and services produced and consumed, savings and investment, government spending, tax revenue and net exports.
The report analyzes the obstacles beyond GDP and provides a road map for the global transition beyond GDP.
As part of this research, DFF has covered 18 key country-level approaches to GDP growth and 21 global indicators that look at progress beyond the economy.
