The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced the establishment of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce by publishing a notice.

According to Amac News: The announcement of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce states that the establishment of this council is an important step towards promoting joint opportunities between the private sectors in Dubai and Georgia and supporting the growth of bilateral trade and investment.
According to the announcement, this move shows the increasing attractiveness of Dubai among Georgian companies and investors.
Last year, bilateral non-oil trade between Dubai and Georgia achieved an annual growth of 8.5% and reached the value of 1.76 billion dirhams.
The total number of active Georgian companies registered in the Dubai Chamber of Commerce reached 89 at the end of the first half of 2024.
In the first annual general meeting of the Georgian Business Council, ways to strengthen cooperation and organize bilateral business events, in addition to exploring opportunities and exchanging knowledge and experience, were discussed.
The establishment of the Business Council is supposed to increase the ease of doing business in Dubai for Georgian companies.
Country-specific business councils represent the nationalities of active investors in Dubai and, in cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, focus on promoting bilateral trade and investment.
