The UAE National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism and Illicit Organizations (NAMLCFTC) will host the 2024 Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) Annual Summit and Technical and Training Assistance Forum.

According To Amac News: The meeting will begin on September 22 in Abu Dhabi, the UAE National Committee said in a statement.
This is the first time the APG’s annual meeting has been held in the Middle East, demonstrating the UAE’s commitment to international partnerships in the fight against financial crime.
The APG represents 42 jurisdictions across the Asia-Pacific region, with eight additional observer jurisdictions and 33 observer organizations.
The UAE will join the Asia Pacific Group as the first Arab country in July 2023 as an observer.
