The Federal Tax Agency (FTA) has announced in a statement that it has extended its calls for resident legal entities with permits issued in July.

According to Amac News: In the announcement of the Federal Tax Agency, it is stated that resident legal entities with issued licenses should submit their company's tax registration application no later than September 30, 2024.
According to the announcement of the FTA, taxable persons must refer to the deadlines specified in FTA Decision No. 3 of 2024 in the timetable specified for the registration of taxable persons for corporate taxes with this organization.
The FTA decision sets deadlines for each category of taxable persons subject to corporate tax to submit their corporate tax registration applications.
FTA noted that based on Cabinet Decision No. 75 of 2023 on Administrative Penalties, administrative penalties will be imposed for violations related to the application of Federal Law No. 47 of 2022 on Taxation of Companies and Businesses and its amendments.
For taxable persons who have multiple licenses as of March 1, 2024, the license registration deadline is determined by the first issuance date.
FTA has announced that registration for corporate tax purposes is available through the EmaraTax digital tax services platform.
The platform allows VAT or excise registrants to access their accounts directly through EmaraTax.
In addition, corporate taxpayers can register directly through the EmaraTax digital tax service platform or through authorized tax agents listed on the FTA website.
The FTA reiterates its call for all corporate taxpayers to review the Corporate Tax Act, related executive decisions and guidance published on the FTA website.
