According to Amac News: WCR 2024, which was held in Abu Dhabi with the theme of "work and employment", aims to address the global challenges facing determined people in the labor market and promote awareness of their rights and capabilities.
Under the auspices of Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO), the congress will be held until September 25 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Organized by ZHO in partnership with RI Global and the International Social Security Association (ISSA), the congress is the first of its kind in the Middle East and attracts over 500 participants from over 70 countries.
Speaking at the World Congress on Rehabilitation (WCR) 2024, the Secretary General of the Hong Kong Rehabilitation Alliance said that he appreciates the UAE's experience in supporting people for sustainable efforts in the country.
The General Secretary of the Hong Kong Rehabilitation Alliance highlighted the WCR as a vital international platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices with experts from around the world.
Many WCR participants showcase successful initiatives and strategies for empowering determined individuals in their communities.
