Amac News: The statement of the World Bank Group states that the Abu Dhabi office of the World Bank is working on activities in line with the priorities of the UAE.
Ali Abdallah Sharafi, Assistant Vice President of the International Financial Relations Department at the Ministry of Finance, emphasized the ministry's commitment to increase its strategic partnership with the World Bank to help achieve its development goals.
On the sidelines of the workshop, he said that this joint cooperation will help achieve more achievements and successes for the UAE.
World Bank Director for GCC countries, said the World Bank office in Abu Dhabi works on a wide range of activities aligned with the UAE's priorities, including competitiveness, health, gender equality and climate action.
The partnership also included working with the Gender Balance Council to strengthen women's economic empowerment.
An agreement was also signed with the Ministry of Health and Prevention to review the costs of illness in the UAE with the aim of improving healthcare delivery and resource allocation.
