The first day of the summit started with a session entitled "International Cooperation for Climate Mitigation: Treaties, Agreements and Partnership Projects" with the presence of Luma Thaqaf, Middle East, Africa and India Director of Responsible Investment Principles.
The meeting emphasized the importance of establishing clear frameworks for international cooperation in climate action through treaties and agreements. Speakers emphasized the importance of localizing climate initiatives and strengthening interoperability to ensure the success of joint projects.
The meeting continued with a discussion titled "Power Grid Integration Challenges and Solutions: Managing Variability and Ensuring Reliability in the Power Grid." Speakers discussed various aspects of carbon footprint management and reporting.
This summit ended its first day with a session entitled "The role of green hydrogen in the decarbonization of energy systems and industrial processes" with the presence of Akram Alami, senior partner and head of the urban services, aviation and sustainability and responsibility department at Bain & Company delivered.
