The UAE participated in the meeting of the financial and economic cooperation committee of the GCC
The United Arab Emirates delegation headed by Mohammad bin Hadi Al Husseini, Minister of State for Finance of the UAE, has participated in the 122nd meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.

Amac News: The statement of the UAE Ministry of Finance states that this meeting was held on October 2nd and 3rd in Doha, Qatar.
According to the published statement, the finance ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council were present in this meeting and the financial and economic issues related to the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council were discussed in this meeting.
In this meeting, the ministers discussed and exchanged opinions about the results of the 83rd meeting of the Central Bank Governors Committee of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and also the meeting of the Customs Union.
In this meeting, the decision of the Council of Ministers in the 161st session regarding the future role of the Board of Directors of the Customs Union was discussed as well as the necessary follow-up projects to complete the formation of the Customs Union.
The Minister of Finance of the UAE emphasized in this meeting that his country's participation in the meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council is to further strengthen economic integration among the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and help achieve sustainable development.
He pointed out that the rapidly changing global economic landscape requires collective cooperation and joint efforts to formulate strong financial policies that are able to adapt to these changes.
He also participated in the joint meeting of finance ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and heads of central banks with the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The meeting ended with a renewed joint commitment to continue coordination among the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council to guide global economic changes.
