The Road and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) has announced that it has secured a staggering amount of 69.137 million dirhams in the latest open auction of license plates.


According to Amac News: The announcement of the Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) states that the 116th edition of this auction includes 90 premium plates, from two to five digits and including the letters AA, L, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z have been.
The auction was a roaring success, with license plate number AA17 commanding the highest bid at Dh8.02 million, according to the announcement. Other notable sales included plate numbers Y1000 for AED 4.55 million, V96 for AED 4.1 million and AA333 for AED 3.01 million.
RTA's public and electronic auctions of premium license plates follow a rigorous strategy based on careful planning, ensuring impartiality, transparency, and fair access for those seeking these unique identifiers, the announcement said.
