The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates published a statement that Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, the Minister of Climate Change and Environment of this country, met with the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Korea, Kim Wan-sup.


According to Amac News: In the announcement of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, it is stated that Al Dahak went to the Republic of Korea at the head of an Emirati delegation.
This trip is aimed at building existing cooperation between the two countries, including the signing of agreements focused on cooperation in the field of smart agriculture research.
Al Dahak highlighted the UAE's achievements in implementing national and global climate commitments, including its pioneering role as the first country in the Middle East and North Africa region to commit to net zero by 2050.
The four-day trip also included a series of high-level bilateral meetings that further strengthened the UAE's commitment to international cooperation and strengthening existing cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Korea.
Al Dahak met with key figures including GGGI President Ban Ki-moon and discussed the UAE's continued support for green growth and sustainable development. They committed $4 million to strong collaboration with the UAE for 2024-2025 and explored new avenues to expand GGGI's collaboration with key ministries and institutions, including the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi.
Amina bint Abdullah Al Dahak emphasized the UAE's commitment to working with international partners to build a more sustainable and prosperous future.
