Amac News: Aldar's announcement states that this agreement has been signed for the development of Abu Dhabi's first Mandarin Oriental brand residences on Saadiyat Island.
Scheduled to go on sale in late 2024, Mandarin Oriental Residences will consist of 228 premium homes.
The exclusive development is located in the cultural area of Saadiyat, overlooking the soaring wings of the Zayed National Museum. This hotel is located a few steps from Louvre Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Museum of Natural History and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Mandarin Oriental Residences will also have access to 3,500 square meters of premium dining spaces along the Zayed National Museum Promenade and another 60,000 square meters of retail, entertainment and recreation near Saadiyat Grove.
Saadiyat Island is a vibrant destination that offers a mix of pristine beaches, luxurious resorts and world class fine dining. Famous for its cultural attractions and stunning natural beauty, this city provides an unforgettable experience for visitors.
The partnership comes as demand for branded accommodation in Abu Dhabi continues to grow. Earlier this year, a penthouse in one of Aldar's residential buildings on Saadiyat Island set an Abu Dhabi transaction record for AED 137 million.
