According to Amac News: ADNOC's announcement states that this program is a comprehensive program aimed at providing legal qualifications and work experience at the global level.
This structured and hands-on training program, which started in January 2024, supports ADNOC's broader strategy to strengthen the knowledge-based economy in the UAE and nurture national talent through its various training initiatives.
The program welcomes recent graduates and professionals and offers participants the opportunity to pursue prestigious certifications such as the Solicitors' Qualification Examination in England (SQE) and the New York Bar Examination.
Currently, eight UAE nationals are enrolled in the program, with five high-performing Emirati students currently on their way to obtaining their SQE qualifications at the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGM).
ALDI covers basic UAE and English law alongside practical skills such as contract drafting, negotiation and legal planning.
 ADNOC has designed the curriculum so that participants not only master the technical aspects of the law, but also acquire the business acumen necessary to thrive in the legal teams of one of the world's largest firms.
Group members expand their legal skills and equip them with the skills needed to excel on the global stage.
By 2027, ADNOC anticipates that the first cohort of dual-jurisdictional lawyers will rejoin the firm to navigate the complexities of international legal frameworks.
In addition to strengthening ADNOC's in-house legal expertise, ALDI also contributes to the broader UAE legal landscape. The program will help deepen local talent by nurturing a new generation of highly skilled Emirati lawyers and reduce the country's reliance on foreign legal professionals.
