DMCC reported 11% growth in Turkish companies

The Dubai Multi Commodity Center (DMCC) said in a statement that it has seen an 11 percent increase in Turkish companies joining its international business zone.


According to Amac News: The announcement of DMCC states that this increase brings the total number of Turkish member companies in DMCC to 643.
The announcement was made at the latest edition of DMCC's "Made for Trade Live" roadshow in Istanbul, held against the backdrop of booming trade and investment between the UAE and Turkey.
According to the announcement, in the first half of 2024, trade between the two countries increased by 15 percent, following a 107 percent increase in 2023, and Turkish companies were among the top 10 trading partners of the UAE.
With more than 640 Turkish companies in our international trade zone, the number of these companies is expected to increase significantly in the coming years.
The Made for Trade Live event was held in collaboration with Tamimi Consulting and briefed 150 Turkish business leaders on growth opportunities through DMCC.
The DMCC Global Roadshow series is a key initiative in showcasing Dubai as a leading destination for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The International Business District contributes 15% to Dubai's annual FDI inflow.
In 2023, DMCC recorded its second best year yet, welcoming 2,700 new companies.
