Business licenses in Ras Al Khaimah have grown by 28.6 percent

The Emirate's Economic Development Department said in a report that business licenses in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah increased by 28.6 percent and professional and industrial licenses increased by 25 percent each in the first nine months of the year.


According to Amac News: In the report of the Economic Development Department of the Emirate, it is stated that this report shows a significant growth of 27% in business activities in the period from January to September.
Amina Qahttan, director of commercial affairs of the ministry, confirmed that the total capital of new licenses has doubled and reached 792.3 million dirhams, which has increased by 111.3% compared to 375 million dirhams in the same period last year.
He noted that the capital of new business licenses grew by 179.3%, professional licenses by 248.8%, and industrial licenses by 28.6%.
According to him, Ras Al Khaimah has seen a significant increase in economic and commercial activities, along with significant progress in infrastructure and tourism projects, which has had a positive effect on continuous business growth.
The report showed that the first nine months of 2024 had the second highest number of new licenses in the last ten years with a total of 1,576 licenses, while 2016 held the record with a total of 1,694 new licenses.
