Central Bank of the UAE announces M1 increase

Total M1 money supply increased by 0.6 percent from 884.1 billion dirhams at the end of June 2024 to 889.3 billion dirhams at the end of July 2024, the UAE Central Bank said.


According to Amac News: According to the Central Bank of the Emirates, the supply of M2 money in this country has increased by 1.7% in one month (from the end of June 2024 to the end of July 2024). According to this bank, the amount of M2 increased from 2,169.4 billion dirhams to 2,205.9 billion dirhams.
Total money supply M3 also increased by 1.7% from 2,632.0 billion dirhams at the end of June 2024 to 2,676.0 billion dirhams at the end of July 2024. M3 increased due to the growth of M2 and an increase of 7.5 billion dirhams in the government. Deposits

Banks' gross assets, including bank acceptances, increased by 0.9 percent from AED 4,310.2 billion at the end of June 2024 to AED 4,348.6 billion at the end of July 2024.
The monetary base in the United Arab Emirates decreased by 1.0% in the one month period (from end-Jun 2024 to end-July 2024). The amount of monetary base has reached 718.1 billion dirhams from 725.0 billion dirhams.
