China Central Television (CCTV) reports that a city in Zhejiang province in the east of this country, by applying technology-based agriculture, which is carried out with the guidance and participation of farmers from the China National Rice Research Institute (CNRRI), a large and high-quality product from terraced rice fields.

Amac News: Citing the CCTV, Xianju County in Zhejiang Province has started an innovative collaboration with agricultural scientists to increase the quality and yield of rice in terraced farms. The aim of this partnership is to develop new varieties of rice and incorporate advanced technologies into agricultural activities.
This year, Xianju County has devoted 86,000 mu (about 5,733 hectares) of terraced fields to rice planting, of which 11,000 mu have adopted new varieties with optimized technologies.
According to experts, this strategic change has not only increased the quality of rice, but has led to significant economic gains for both the village and the farmers.
In addition to agricultural developments, the local government has facilitated branding and packaging schemes for villagers and helped them market rice through online platforms such as live streaming.
The goal of these efforts is to overcome challenges in quality control, sales, and coordination that enable local products to transcend geographic barriers and reach wider markets.
