He highlighted the close cooperation between India and the UAE in various economic sectors, especially in energy, and predicted that the development of bilateral trade relations would benefit the region and the world.
Meanwhile, according to the WAM news agency, several economic and commercial cooperations between the two countries have been implemented.
Regarding India's energy outlook, India's oil minister announced his country's goal of increasing the share of natural gas in the energy mix from 6 to 15 percent by October next year.
Puri also highlighted the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the energy industry, calling it a game-changing tool.
He said India is now using artificial intelligence in various economic sectors and energy fields and affirmed that these technologies will not only change the landscape but also affect the way energy issues are approached constructively and productively.
On the prominent participation of Indian energy companies in ADIPEC 2024, Puri said that the exhibition is an important platform to exchange ideas and best practices in the field of energy and advanced technologies.
