The European Union representative in Afghanistan, during a meeting with Din Mohammad Hanif, the acting Minister of Economy of Afghanistan, announced that the EU would provide $100 million for agriculture and other humanitarian and developmental aid projects in the country.

Amac News: The Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan announced the news on the meeting between Din Mohammad Hanif and
Veronika Boskovic Pohar, the EU representative for Afghanistan.
The statement mentioned that both parties discussed the continuation of humanitarian and developmental assistance, the economic situation, plans, programs, and economic priorities.
In the meeting, the EU representative assured the acting Minister of Economy about organizing a future meeting focused on supporting small economic activities and enterprises in Afghanistan.
Pohar also promised the allocation of $100 million to support humanitarian and developmental projects in the agriculture sector.
Furthermore, the acting Minister of Economy stated, "The EU's developmental assistance and support for the private sector and enterprises can improve the economic situation of families. Our people urgently need not only humanitarian aid but also developmental assistance."
It was also mentioned that the EU representative assured sharing the realities of Afghanistan and the perspectives and suggestions from the Ministry of Economy with EU members and the international community.
