(GMC): examines the role of artificial intelligence in content creation

The third edition of the Global Media Congress (GMC), taking place from November 26 to 28 in Abu Dhabi, will discuss the role and impact of artificial intelligence on content creation.


According to Amac News: based on Emirati media, GMC, as a leading platform in the media industry, will examine the effects of AI on content production, news generation, and information credibility. The congress aims to promote the responsible use of AI technologies.
The Media Future Labs at GMC, which consists of 60-minute roundtable sessions, will bring together industry leaders and policymakers. During this event, growth-stage and early-stage startups will present solutions tailored to the needs of the media industry.
Ahmed Gamal, Business Development Manager for AI Solutions at Nvidia in Advanced Integration, highlighted the significance of the VGLNT tool, recently launched in the UAE, in an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM). He stated, "This tool aims to enhance news accuracy and combat misinformation."
VGLNT is an AI tool designed to improve the accuracy of news and counter misinformation. It assists media organizations and journalists in reviewing and validating their produced content with greater precision.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammad Ayesh from the American University of Sharjah emphasized the importance of integrating AI into future media curricula to equip media professionals with the necessary skills.
