UAE Market at Center of Discussion Between Economy Minister and Peec Mobility Officials
Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE Minister of Economy, held a meeting with officials from Peec Mobility to discuss the company's future plans for the UAE market and its role in promoting the circular economy and sustainable transportation.

Amac News: Citing the UAE Minister of Economy, the meeting focused on utilizing technology to extend the lifespan of older gasoline-powered vehicles by converting them into electric vehicles. It also addressed Peec's vision in bolstering UAE initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and increase the proportion of electric and hybrid vehicles to 50% of all vehicles on the roads by 2050.
The Ministry stated that this meeting is part of its broader strategy to enhance dialogue with the private sector as part of a newly launched economic engagement initiative. This initiative, titled "UAE Circular Economy Policy 2031," identifies the private sector as a key contributor to achieving its goals.
The policy focuses on embedding sustainable practices across key sectors, including sustainable transportation, manufacturing, food, and infrastructure.
Ahmed Zachariah Faizal, CEO and Founder of Peec, expressed his belief that the UAE provides an ideal environment for innovative ideas.
