XPANSE 2024, recognized as the world's first dedicated forum for envisioning exponential technologies, was inaugurated on Wednesday at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.

Amac News: Citing the UAE media, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, stated at the opening ceremony that XPANSE 2024 represents the convergence of global leaders, thinkers, and innovators to explore the transformative potential of exponential technologies across various industries. He added that the UAE has embraced innovation, particularly in technology, as a cornerstone of national progress.
Meanwhile, Alia Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, noted that Abu Dhabi has emerged as a key hub for finance and technology in the region.
Additionally, Faisal Al Bannai, Secretary General of the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs, and Dr. Zina Jarrahi Cinker, Chief Creator of XPANSE and Director General of MATTER, discussed the role of ATRC and TII in transforming Abu Dhabi into a technology hub.
Al Bannai emphasized that ATRC and TII play vital roles in nurturing deep tech startups and contributing to the knowledge economy. He highlighted that ATRC serves as a global connection hub, facilitating collaboration in research.
XPANSE 2024, hosted by ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company, and organized by the ADNEC Group and the global think tank MATTER, will take place from November 20 to 22. It provides a platform for some of the world's most prominent thinkers to explore imaginative new horizons.
