The Ajman Chamber of Commerce announced that Marwan Hussein Al Shaali, a member of the chamber’s board of directors, participated in the 13th Arab-Hellenic Economic Conference held in Athens, the capital of Greece.

According to Amac News: Based on the declaration of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce, the conference was held with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation, increasing the volume of Arab-Hellenic investments, and exploring partnership opportunities, especially in the fields of energy and construction.
The conference was attended by officials and representatives of governmental and economic institutions of Arab and Greek countries, along with company leaders, entrepreneurs, experts and specialists in the fields of energy, construction and related industries.
Al Shaali praised the relations between the UAE and Greece at the conference and emphasized the two countries’ shared commitment to increasing bilateral trade and promoting joint investments.
He described the conference as a strategic platform to strengthen Arab-Hellenic economic relations, with special emphasis on the energy and construction sectors.
He noted that these sectors are of strategic importance in the UAE, especially in Ajman, and stressed that the emirate provides an ideal environment for investment growth in both sectors.
Al Shaali also noted that the real estate, building and construction sectors accounted for 29 percent of Ajman’s GDP in 2023.
The conference consisted of a series of sessions and addressed various topics, including “Consecutive Changes and Opportunities for Traditional Energy Alternatives”, “Electric Connectivity Projects”, “Energy Investment Capabilities and Opportunities”, “Green Energy Projects Roadmap”, “Clean Energy”, “Infrastructure and Construction Projects”, “Cooperation Opportunities in Energy and Infrastructure Projects”, “Sustainability, Innovation and Smart Technologies in the Development of Cities and Towns of the Future” and “Green Buildings and Construction Industry Technologies”.
