AMAC - BRICS membership list to be announced by year-end

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in a statement to the media that the BRICS membership list has not yet been finalized and Russia expects to announce the list of member countries before the end of the year.

According to Amac News: Citing the media, Ryabkov added that no country has rejected the invitation to join the BRICS group and the full list of new countries will be published by the end of this year.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister said that the country is waiting for the new members to complete their internal procedures.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said after the BRICS summit in the Russian city of Kazan that invitations will first be sent to the countries and their names will be announced after a positive response.
It is said that Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates became members of the BRICS group on January 1, 2024.
