According to Amac News: Based on the announcement of these authorities, the exhibition, which opened today, Wednesday, December 4, is dedicated to displaying industrial and agricultural products, handicrafts and domestic products.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Noorul Hadi Abu Adris, Deputy Governor of Balkh province, called the exhibition an important step for economic growth and introducing domestic products of Afghanistan.
He said that he calls on Afghan businessmen who are abroad to return to their homeland, because according to him, good opportunities have been created in Afghanistan for investment.
On the other hand, Mohammad Hashim Wahaj, head of the "Ancient Kapisa Exhibition Services" company and organizer of the exhibition, said that in this event, the products of 150 domestic companies were exhibited in 150 booths and will continue for three days.
Meanwhile, Imamuddin Sanayizadeh, head of the Balkh Chamber of Industries and Mines, also stated that with the current government coming to power, the number of manufacturing factories in Afghanistan is increasing.
He also suggested that a permanent location for holding exhibitions should be considered in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif.
On the other hand, Asadullah Asadi, head of the Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment, emphasized the importance of using domestic goods and called the import situation of Afghanistan painful.
Nasir Ahmadi Niazi, deputy minister of industry and commerce of Balkh province, also called on businessmen inside Afghanistan and immigrants to take advantage of the opportunities available in Afghanistan and invest in their country.
Exhibitors also expressed their happiness at holding such exhibitions, considering them useful in the field of marketing domestic products and called for the continuation of these programs.
It should be noted that officials of the Consulate of of Iran in Mazar-e-Sharif were also present at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
