Dubai Customs manages 281,775 passengers in 9M 2024

Dubai Customs announced that its Passenger Operations Department handled more than 1.23 million pieces of luggage for 281,775 passengers on 187 cruise ships between January and November 2024.


According to Amac News: Khalid Ahmed, Director of Passenger Operations Department at Dubai Customs, stressed the key role of the department in supporting the growth of Dubai’s tourism, saying that the department is committed to supporting Dubai’s growing tourism industry and is focused on providing efficient and modern customs services.
He also stressed the importance of working closely with its strategic partners to provide superior services at cruise terminals, adding that this collaboration will help attract more visitors and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global tourism hub.
Dubai is set to host some of the world’s largest cruise ships at Port Rashid and Dubai Port as the new cruise season begins in 2024-2025.
In order to meet the growing demand, Dubai Customs said it has introduced innovative solutions to enhance passenger satisfaction. Cruise terminals at Dubai Ports provide a comfortable and luxurious experience for seafarers.
