The Dubai Festivals and Retail Authority (DFRE), part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), unveiled its 2025 retail calendar.

Amac News: Based on the DFRE, The event has been designed in line with the objectives of Dubai’s economic plan, D33, and emphasizes the importance of supporting local businesses and strengthening partnerships.
The calendar includes 18 diverse events that will help attract tourists and residents, offering cultural and commercial experiences throughout the year.
These events include the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), the world’s longest-running retail festival, the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival (DSS), which suggests the best time to visit Dubai, and the Ramadan Festival.
The DFRE CEO said the events – which are expected to see an increase in visitor numbers next year – would help Dubai support the growth of local businesses.
The Dubai Games and Esports Festival (DEF), which is now in its fourth year, will also take place from April 25 to May 11, 2025.
Dubai Fashion Season will also be a year-round fixture in the retail calendar, catering to fashion enthusiasts.
The calendar is said to be the first of its kind in the region, with over 1,000 brands and 4,000 stores participating each year.
