1 Billion Followers Summit shortlists 10 candidates for $1 million award

 The 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s first and largest event on shaping the content economy, hosted by the Emirates New Media Academy, has announced the 10 finalists for the $1 million Award.


According to Amac News: The summit aims to support creators who produce impactful content. It's aim is to recognize and reward content creators who have a positive impact on society.
Over the past three weeks, more than 16,000 applications from 190 countries have been submitted to the award.
A public vote for the selected candidate will be held from December 22 to December 28. The top five candidates will advance to the final round. A panel of judges will select the winner on January 11-12, 2025, with the results announced on January 13.
The finalists include individuals from countries as diverse as Nigeria, the UK, the US, Australia, and Lebanon, each known for their content in diverse fields including women’s health, mountaineering, and entrepreneurship.
The conference is recognized as a milestone in empowering content creators globally.
