Number plate auction in Dubai generates over AED 81 million

The 117th round of exclusive vehicle number plates auction in Dubai reached a total revenue of 81.178 million dirhams, which is the highest revenue in the history of Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) auctions since its establishment.

According to Amac News: This auction was held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City Hotel, and the BB55 plate was sold with the highest bid for 6.3 million dirhams.
After that, AA21 plate was sold for 6.16 million dirhams, BB100 plate for 5 million dirhams and BB11111 plate for 4.21 million dirhams.
In this auction, RTA offered 90 unique number plates with two, three, four and five digits, including AA, BB, K, O, T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z codes.
