Amac News: Upon the start of operation, this train will become the fastest high-speed train in the world and will surpass the CR400, which travels at a speed of 350 km/h.
According to China Daily, this train sets new standards in terms of speed, energy efficiency, noise reduction and safety. Despite the increased speed, the advanced braking technology used in this train ensures stability and maintains braking distances similar to those of slower trains.
The CR450 also features noise reduction systems for quiet rides and expanded cabin space with versatile storage options for items such as bicycles and wheelchairs. Energy-saving improvements, including a lighter structure and reduced resistance, are other features of this train.
Developed by CRRC Changchun and CRRC Sifang, the train has undergone extensive testing on major railway lines, completing more than 200,000 kilometers of tests and thousands of simulations.
This achievement marks the beginning of a new era for high-speed rail and consolidates China's global leadership in rail technology.
